I was chuffed to hear that the first three caches I hid were found very quickly - unfortunately they were a little bit small to hold this badge, which is 44mm diameter.
Essential kit for geocaching:
- a GPS receiver or mobile phone with suitable app
- Swaps to put in the box
- Pen or pencil
- Fine-point tweezers (some logs have to be carefully extracted from tiny magnetic containers called nanos)
- Stout footwear and clothes suitable for the conditions
- Gloves - gardening ones are good, or vinyl ones at the very least - you may have to rummage about in wet undergrowth! (What do you mean that doesn't sound like fun?!)
